Weird app, autofill doesn’t for some bizarre reason

Come on guys, it feels like whoever made this app has never used an iphone app before. I can use Apple Pay at the restaurant, why not in the app? And why is autofill disabled? Nobody types their information manually, especially payment information. And if I’ve made a mistake filling out the payment info, why do i only get a validation message when clicking “Cancel” and the “Save” button just doesn’t do anything? Weird experience all around.

Way too glitchy & inconsistent

I’ve used the First Watch app 2-3 times per week for the past two years for in-restaurant pick up. Everything up until the actual checkout process works as expected. The primary hang ups occur in 2 places: 1) randomly it won’t show my saved card so I have to re-input. This might happen when I’m using wifi & not only cell service, but who’s to know. 2) 90% of the time the app can’t calculate taxes on the fly so it gives me a “null” error message and says amount must match total even though all I can see is the total amount of the food/bev (only) order. Sometimes it does this if I add tip - so to reduce calculating problems I stopped adding the tip (I did tell staff about this tipping hiccup so they don’t think I’m cheap). The tax “null” message “the sum of your selected payment methods must match total” stopped me from finalizing order so I’m venting on this review, although just now I went back & the taxes had been added. Still didn’t go through until I backed out of the cart (with the “x” top right ) and then pressed checkout cart then “submit” again. Finally!! It’s ridiculous to have to go through this nearly EVERY time I order lunch.

Delivery Orders Don’t Work

For some reason, even though staff at the restaurant tell me they have passed on screen shots to the IT department, First Watch won’t fix the errors in its app. A few months ago an error was introduced making it impossible to order delivery. If you select delivery and enter your credit card patient details, the order total gets recalculated by the app to an amount that doesn’t match what is being charged to the credit card. Since the two numbers don’t match, the payment can’t be processed and the order won’t go through. It’s been like that for months. HOPE CAN YOU NOT HAVE NOTICED THE DROP IN MOBILE ORDERS?
